Hi!

I was using ADV7181D eval board.

And found something I want to ask.

①After I supplied the power, I read back the register.

After supplied the power, I wrote ":AUTODETECT CVBS IN NTSC/PAL/SECAM, 8-Bit 422 encoder:".

②And after set the register, I used software reset(42 0F 80 ; RESET) and read back the register.

Also I tried another thing.

After supplied the power, I wrote ":AUTODETECT CVBS IN NTSC/PAL/SECAM, 8-Bit 422 encoder:".

③And after set the register, I used hardware reset and read back the register.

But there were many different between 1~3.

Why this happens?

I thought software reset and hardware reset are same and reset all register.

Can you give me any advice about this?

Best regards

Kawa
