IN AN-0971, "Recommendations for Control of Radiated Emissions with isoPower Devices", it uses a word "image charge current". Can someone explain this current more clearly.
When a current travels down a trace in a PC board an image charge travels along with it at the same time. When these are high frequency currents there needs to be a return trace or ground plane for this image charge to travel with or else the divergent path of the image charge will cause radiation.
