AD7813 Auto Power Down and 10bit Data

Hi,

After reviewing the AD7813 datasheet (http://www.analog.com/static/imported-files/data_sheets/AD7813.pdf), one final question I have about the part is the width of the data in auto power down mode.

For Mode 2 (auto power down), the last paragraph on page 8 makes mention that the parallel interface is still fully functional while the AD7813 is powered down. However, in Figure 14 on page 9, the Mode 2 operation diagram shows only 8 bits of data being accessible. Is this the case or does a fully functional parallel interface still allow 10bits of data to be retrieved?

Thanks in advance for your answer, I'm looking forward to using the AD7813 in a design if I can resolve this issue!

Jordan
