I am using AD9467-FMC-250EBZ in default state in the following test configuration: CLKIN crystek CRBSCS-01 250MHz +2..+6dBm 250MHz; analog input AIN single tone -80dBm..-10dBm at 10MHz signal is provided by N9310A RF signal generator. I am capturing the following response at different Ain power levels (see attached figures):
1: No signal at input – Values in range of 65463 <-> 65509
2: -50dBm @ 10MHz – Values in range of 65441 <-> 65531
3: -30dBm @ 10 MHz – Values in range of 0 <-> 65535
Below -40dBm Ain the digital signal represents a sine wave as expected. But when Ain above -40dBm the signal is clipping in time domain and produces a lot of distortions in the frequency domain. What could be the reason for this behaviour?
