More of an observation than a question. In my AD9523-1 design, I am using REFA and REFB dividers set to 1. In the datasheet, table 42, it appears that I should set bits 0 and 1 of register 0x01C to bypass the reference dividers. If I do that, the device does not see the reference clocks, i.e. read back register 0x22C reports reference clocks missing even when they are present. I have to clear 0x01C bits 0 and 1 to get the clock generator to see the reference inputs. Have I misunderstood the purpose of the reference divider bypass bits or is this a mistake in the datasheet?
