I have a question.
Is this device fully differential input possible or SE only?
The PIN description seems to SE only.
Our customer's circuit can be simplified If differential is possible.
I am checking on this. Let me get back to you on this on the next day.
The AD7616 is a SE input. But if you are looking for a differential bipolar input, I can refer you to AD7609. It is an 8 channel 18 bit Bipolar ADC. Do you have a specific feature that you are looking for an ADC? By the way , what application you are planning to build?
Thank you for your reply.
Application : Multi CH analog input (0-5V) board for semiconductor manufacturing equipment
Existing model : 0-5V IN -->OPA2378--> AD7689. power supply=5V, REF=5V.
It's very simple circuit. because OPA2378 is RRI/O OPAMP, it seems good.
I think AD7689 is a best ADC for the cost. but this system is not a complete RR.
So I examined the circuit below. AD7616 can input +/-10V max.
Bipolar power supply for AFE & AD7616 can true RR 0-5V input.
On the other hand, the cost is very sensitive.If costomer allow low input impedance, can reduce the first stage buffer.
If the AD7616 is diff input, it can be configured with one OPAMP...
