Hi !

Our customer are using ADV7511W for automotive RSE interface.

I already checked other thread but there was no answer.

Our customer follows this.

And it says to wait 2 seconds to check HDCP link OK or not.

And our customer want to detect when HDCP link is not OK so they are checking HDCP link very fast.

=> They don't want to show sandstorm at there monitor.

But at their system, some times 0xB6[6](HDCP Encryption Status) = 1 and fail to output image.

Q1)

So , at the first certification, they check HDCP link(0xB6[6]) 17ms after "HDCP Authenticated 0x96[1] 0xC8[3:0] 0x94[1] interrupt".

Is 17ms too fast for the device?

Does our customer have to wait 2s?

Our is it violating the HDMI standard?

Q2)

Also after first certification, they are checking 0xB6[6] every 100ms.

Is 100ms too fast for this device?

Does our customer have to wait 2s?

Our is it violating the HDMI standard?

We want to know this very soon because they have plant to pass the HDMI certification.

So if you can answer this very soon, it would help our customer very much.

Best regards

Kawa
