How to compile AD9834 kernel driver for Raspberry Pi

I have an AD9834 that I'd like to connect to my Raspberry PI. It uses an SPI interface. I've been working the the instructions for compiling the Linux kernel driver.

The instructions mention a board file. However, Raspberry PI uses Device Tree instead. I know some AD kernel drivers are Device Tree compatible.

  1. Is the AD9834 Device Tree compatible?
  2. Since the instructions don't cover Device Tree, how would I compile the AD9834 for use with Device Tree?
