The CN-0357 uses the Alphasense CO-AX gas sensor.
How can I understand which are the others 3-pin Alphasense (or from other company) sensors that can be
compatible with this Hardware Reference Design?
You can check the user guide and the design files for the sensor connection and footprints available: EVAL-CN0357-ARDZ Shield [Analog Devices Wiki]
While we don't have a full list of sensors compatible, You can check sensors from Alphasense, Winsensor or DD-Scientific(to name a few). Any 3-electrode electrochemical gas sensor should be electrically compatible with the CN0357. The pin layout and footprints are also common to sensors coming from different companies. The PMOD eval board (EVAL-CN0357-PMDZ) only supports the Alphasense A-series footprint( such as the CO-AX) while the arduino shield version (EVAL-CN0357-ARDZ) supports 3 different types of sensor footprint.
We just include and specify the CO-AX because we used that as reference for testing and for the software example code.
If you are interested in 4-electrode dual gas sensing, you can check CN-0396
