After flashing u-boot-sc589-ezkit.ldr to the SPI flash, removing the ice1000 and power cycling, the SYS_FAULT LED (LED1) is lit red.

I have ADSP SC589 EZKIT and I am using cces 2.6.0 and cces-linux-add-in 1.2.0

I am not able to boot through minicom or re-flash because when I run "path/openocd -f interface/ice1000.cfg -f target/adspsc58x.cfg" from the openocd/share/openocd/scripts directory I now recieve the following message:

Error: JTAG scan chain interrogation failed: all ones
Error: Check JTAG interface, timings, target power, etc.

How can I recover from this?  I tried switching to boot mode zero, where I don't get a fault LED but I still get the same response from openocd.  I am using real hardware running ubuntu 14.04.5 32-bit.
