I am using HMC547ALC3 as RF switch. During power up of my board, the control pins A and B are both at 0V . What would be the state of RFC pin ? If A & B are at 0V and RF power of 10dbm is applied on RFC when A& B are at 0V.
When both A and B control inputs are set to high or low not shown in the truth table, both RF1 and RF2 paths will be in undefined state (neither insertion loss nor isolation) and have poor return losses. In these undefined states, the HMC547ALC3 would handle input power lower than datasheet spec of 29 dBm. The HMC547ALC3 would be safe when 10dBm input power is applied during power up.

Hi One more question on HMC547ALC3.
I have a DC blocking cap connected to RFC pin. A PLL output is connected to the RFC with AC coupling.
RF1 and RF2 is connected to HMC494 ( divide by 8) and HMC438 (divide by 5) frequency divider respectively.
I have a DC blocking on RFC but on RF1 and RF2. Will this cause any problem?
I checked HMC494 and HMC438 datasheets that they require dc blocking capacitors on RF ports so you will need to add caps for RF1 and RF2 of HMC547A.
