using ADV7180 as decoder for analog camera input (VGA Resolution, NTSC M), is it possible to calibrate register settings in order to optimize visualization on a HD Display (1280*768)?

Did you visit ADV7180 Design Support Files?
I've understood that is it possible to calibrate Image quality parameters (contrast, brightness). Correct?
Can I understand why some pixels on display are not working? (on the right part of display, I get a column of black pixels that seem to behave differently accordingly to different input source (different camera but same NTSC-M format).
Which could be in your opinion the root cause of this issue? Can ADV compensate it?
PS: I have no your evaluation board but I am interested in knowing if it can be suitable for my application.
The ADV7180 output outputs video in standard definition standards only (720x487i or 720x576i).
If you wish to convert this to high definition video then you need a part with a scaling block in it.
ADV7180 does not have this block and so it cannot compensate for your display.
The black horizontal lines you are seeing are probably the horizontal blanking information appearing in the active video region of your display.
