Dear Mr'rWould like to ask the ADE7878 AWATT register instantaneous power, is for each cycle to do the calculation?
The AWATT register, or any xWATT register is a power register. It multiplies the current and voltage on the phase and extracts the DC by an LPF instantaneously.
If you would like to use a register in measuring your power for specific number of cycles, you can use the AWATTHR register.
For more information you can visit this link http://www.analog.com/media/en/technical-documentation/data-sheets/ADE7854_7858_7868_7878.pdf .
OK , I understand ,thank you for your support.
I read the AWATT and get the active power, but the value is not really ,is it need use function to exchange? The voltage and current angle is 180,so the value is negative, but the load is resistance,Could you tell me.?
