I am using the AD8015 with a photodiode at input. My application requires detection of light signals at low frequencies (<5 Mbps) down to and including DC. I ultimately need a logic-level output, so a good amount of gain will be needed in some sort of limiting amplifier stage(s) following the 8015.
First of all, can gain be added without causing the output to saturate just from the inherent offsets in the differential outputs? And if so, is there a part recommendation?
Thank you for your assistance.
