We have a carrier card and an ADVR9364 1x1. Is there a design example that shows how to use the FPGA fabric with Vivado, without using the Zync processor core to setup the AD9364 1x1 transceiver?
We do not have any such example.
Are you looking for not using any processor at all (not just Zynq)?
We have a few using the microblaze, but all requires a processor.
It is just easier to access/control the device.
However, nothing stopping you from hard-coding the settings for the AD9361.
Great. How do I hard code the settings for the AD9364 using the Zync part? I will use a state machine. Do you have an example of this?
By the way, a microblaze VHDL example for programming the AD9364 would be fine. I believe I can chop out the microblaze and replace it with my logic that will connect to the AD9364.
I need to know how to program the fabric only of the Zync part with Vivado and VHDL files I will synthesize through the normal vivado FPGA flow.
Let me restate-
All designs do require a processor (Zynq or Microblaze).
And all are verilog only.
You just program it (try first and you will know).
