We're using this ADV7401 chip to decode the composite PAL video to YCbCr format. We're having 3 CVBS input source which is given AIN8, AIN10 and AIN10 of the ADV7401 input. Based on the user selection, we're switching the input MUX via I2C lines. We need some clarifications in the following query.
Issue : We're giving simultaneous input to all the three channel. When switching from AIN8 to AIN10, we're getting improper FIELD signal for around 6 frame time period. After that we're getting the proper FIELD signal. The same observation for AIN10 to AIN11 and AIN11 to AIN10. But when we're moving from either AIN10 or AIN11 to AIN8, we're getting improper FIELD signal for around 60 Frames. The specific issue is there only when we're moving to AIN8.
1. What is the maximum required time period to switch from one channel to another channel with proper FIELD signal?
2. What is status of the FIELD signal during switching from one channel to another channel?
Issue : We're giving video input source to any one of AIN8, AIN10 and AIN11. When moving from active channel to another channel where no input is given, the LOS status is asserted after 1.5Sec.
1. What is the maximum required time period to assert the LOS status when the selected channel not having active video source?
