YCbCr 4:2:2/12 ADV7619

When I input YCbCr 4:2:2/12 into my ADV7619 and readi back 0x0B(DEEP_COLOR_MODE) of the HDMI map it always reports 8 bits per channel.  I also see this on the eval board as well.  While YCbCr 4:2:2/10 is reported correctly.

Is there some conversion in the deep color mode going on here?

I see a deep color change interrupt, and  UG-237 says

"Deep color mode can be monitored via DEEP_COLOR_CHNG_RAW, which indicates if the color depth of the processed HDMI stream has changed."

Does processed stream mean after changes have been made in the ADV7619?  If so way does this just effect 4:2:2/12?
