Why are there base registers in scripts that don't match the base registers in AVESBlue?

I'm trying to make my EVAL-ADV7612-7511P work in an 8-bit BT656 mode between the HDMI in and HDMI out.  Some of the scripts I find have stuff like:

56 17 02 ; Reset Encoder
56 00 FC ; Power up DACs and PLL
56 01 00 ; SD-SDR only mode
and
40 03 82 ; 24-bit SDR ITU-656 mode
40 04 42 ; OP_CH_SEL
40 05 2C ; AV code on
( from 800x600_embedded_sync.txt.zip)
My AVESBlue doesn't show these register base addresses (40 and 56) as something I can change.  Am I missing something?
thanks,
Carl
