I would recommend starting with the examples for the FPGA EZ-Extender, located at "...\Blackfin\Examples\FPGA EZ-EXTENDER\". The readme explains how to convert the output from the Xilinx tools to work with VisualDSP++. These examples include a programmer to write your hex files to the FPGA through VisualDSP++.
I have tried the examples lacated at "...\Blackfin\Examples\FPGA EZ-EXTENDER\" , but my coordinator teatcher wants from me to interface the two board without the drivers.
I have studied and i have realised the one of the best way to connect the two boards is to use the PPI in genral purpose mode of the blackfin ez - kit and to use in the fpga a 8 bit fifo to store the data provided by the bf537.
If you can help me in this direction i will be gratefull,

I am still facing some problems with the PPI transfer. When I run the Tx program nothing on FPGA leds apears. I have tested if PPI_CLK and PPI_SYN1 are ok and they are because when I display a fixed value it works just fine, but when I try to display the input data nothing happens.
Could you please help with this problem?
I have installed and tried to work with the above mentioned code, but whenever i load the flash programmer driver and program using the mcs file, all the LED's of the FPGA extender just keep glowing.
Is it normal?
