In an ADE7751 what will happen to the ADC if the input voltage of ADC is more than 660 mV after implementing gain?
If you look at the device datasheet (tab.1) , the maximum differential signal level is reported as a function of the gain: Vdiff_max <= 660mV/Gain (internal reference voltage) . If you exceed this specification, while keeping V < 6V (absolute maximum rating), you will not damage the device but you will saturate the ADC. In other words, you are not going to obtain useful information from the device
