ASYNCHRONOUS PWM With BF506F

Hiya,

since I fortunately slowly begin to discover the fract math functions, I have the PWM up an running as I wanted. BUT: I can't do anything with the symmetry. The manual states, that in double update mode it is possible to produce asynchronous PWM signal, e.g. starting at the rising edge of PWM_SYNC. The question is: How?

I can imagine how to do it when in the second half, since I wouldn't need to shift anything, just set the dutycycle to whatever is above 50%. But in the first half for values below 50%, I would need to shift everything to the left somehow... any ideas on that? Are there examples/app notes somewhere regarding this?

Thanks,
