Hi. We have a scenario where a close in blocker gets through the receiver all the way to the RX ADC with no attenuation by the analog filter. The filter is already set to its minimum 3dB cutoff frequency. One method to reduce the effect of the blocker is to decrease the receiver gain, which I already did. Unfortunately, that can't be done infinitely. Is there a recommendation by the ADI to reduce the RX ADC's quantization noise and increase its dynamic range so that I can decrease the gain even more and not degrade the overall noise figure of the receiver. My question may sound silly since I am not an expert on the Sigma-Delta type ADC. Our current RXSAMP=800KHz and ADCCLK=12.8MHz.
