I would like to make a 12 volt DC to 240 volt 60-400 Hz inverter (sine, square or triangle) with a variable duty cycle, 5-30%.
Efficiency is very important.
ADI does not have an IC designed specifically for this application.
Most inverter designs are a collection of circuits including controllers, gate drivers and at times processors and an extensive study of your requirements will be needed to propose the ideal solution.
In the attached .pdf there is an example of some signal chains for solar inverters (which I believe you asked about in another post) and as you can see it requires an extensive development effort, not something that can be posted in a forum like this.
If you have questions specific to ADI ICs you are considering then we can help, but the forum is not intended as a resource for architectural discussions.
With that said, here is an example of an app note published a few years ago. I am confident that by researching published papers and text books you will fing additional inspirations and examples from which you can develop your own architecture.
Thank you for your answer. I thought of this while working on the solar regulator (it has nothing to do with that project). I tested this idea and it worked very well and I was looking to scale it up.
