CCES Error Uploading BSP Examples to ADSP-21489 EZ-Kit

Hi I am using CCES 2.6.0 (On Windows 10 Pro) with the ADSP-21489 EZ-Kit Lite, and am having some issues running debug sessions for the example projects in the Board Support Package.

I am trying to run a debug session for the BSP project Power_On_Self_Test (which builds correctly), but get the following error:

Error in launch sequence

[TpsdkServer] Failed to retrieve number of memory types

I connected pins 1 and 2 of JP1 on the SADA as the FAQ describes for CCES, I as run the ICE Test, which checks positive:

The power and monitor LEDs are lit on the SADA, and the power LED is lit on the board. In Device Manager the CrossCore Tools ADSP-21489 EZ-KIT Lite driver status shows that the driver is working properly.

There is a confusing instruction in the Session Startup section of the ADSP-21489 Ez-Kit Lite Manual (P.1-7), where it says make sure to select the processor family Blackfin, when the ADSP-21489 is clearly a Sharc, and shows up only under the Sharc family. Is this a typo?

Does anyone know what might be causing this error?
