I plan to use the AD5412 as configurable current or voltage output interface implicated in a safety function. Because of safety constraints, I have to add a diagnostic to my function in ordre to verify the current/voltage that is actually outputted.
For voltage monitoring, it won’t be an issue.
For current monitoring, I ‘d thought that I could measure the voltage drop across the R3 internal resistor with a differential amplifier.
“Figure 74. IOUT Filter Circuitry” from AD5412 datasheet gives a 40 Ohm typical value. Would it be possible to get the tolerance of its impedance ?
My need doesn’t require an accurate current moniroting (around +/-10% resistor range would probably suit to me); however, I do need a therical tolerance value.
