One USBi, two 1701 with separate eeproms?

Looking for advise on feasibility of a system with a single USBi interface and two 1701 SigmaDSP's each with their own EEPROM for self boot. I would like to have the ability to have a single Sigma Studio project with both DSP's active when in 'Connect' mode. Each DSP will have unique schematics and parameters so they can not share an EEPROM.  I would like to utilize SELFBOOT mode and avoid a micro controller. So there would be two independent EEPROM's.

I am open to having a DPDT switchs to disconnect the EEPROM's when the USBi is connected. Program the DSP's, disconnect the USBi, reverse the switch and initiate a WB via another switch or power down with capacitors as shown in some of the EVAL boards.

Thoughts?

Thanks!
