What is the meaning of the output parameter "output current or Voltage drift vs Time" in DAC ICs ?
How does the above mentioned parameters effect our design ?
Good morning Vav,
The output of a DAC will drift if the input reference drifts.
If the DAC has an internal reference this will also have a temperature drift,
and so the DAC output will drift in a corresponding manner.
The reference is the dominant factor that causes any drift in a DAC output.
It is very important that the output drift is minimised especially in an open loop application.
