problems in fagc settings

hi ,

               i have tried different fast agc settings and as i am relatively new to this i found after making some changes according to the manual that now the design works correctly on all power levels it is supposed to ,but now i am facing a problem that when at the start the board is switched on at that point the receiver works perfectly on whatever power level i send the signal from transmitter at the start when i switch on my receiver board ;but when i send high power signal ie with less attenuation at the tx it gets stuck on that gain and does not increase again when i increase the attenuation again to the staring point , after watching the signal with the same settings in iioscope i came to the conclusion that the agc is not increasing the gain or is locked whenever high power signal is received and the gain does not increase automatically when it receives low power signal ,this may be caused by the changes i made and after researching some bit ,i came to know that my fagc gain is not unlocking ,can u help me with this , i can provide my current agc setting ,and pls tell me where i am going wrong,thanks
