I want to drive the ADC inputs of the ADUCM3029 directly from the outputs of an RF IQ demodulator. The voltages coming out of this chip will be dc. The IQ demodulator has dual differential outputs which I will connect to AIN0, AIN1, AIN2 and AIN3. The outputs have an output resistance of around 50 ohms. My question is whether the analog inputs of the ADCs on the ADUMC3029 are buffered. If they are then I'd like to make a direct connection between IQ Modulator outputs and the inputs of the ADC. If there is some signal loss due to the ohmic input resistance of the ADCs, that's no problem. I'm tight for space in this design (I'm designing a shield to plug into the ADUCM3029 CUP). so I'd like to avoid ADC driver op-amps if possible.
