We have managed to connect the EV-RADAR-MMIC with the ADAR7251 and we can find the IF signal for a target at 3m.
We would also like to extract phase and magnitude of the signal or the IQ. As I read from a different post, the ADF5904 is not an IQ downconverter, but there is the possibility of analyzing the signals with the D2S board individually.
Why would we want to do that?
Could you please explain if we need other hardware to find the IQ?
Also, on the ADAR7251 software (ADI 3.0) there is the option of raw data, and this is a number between 600 to -300 when saved in .CSV format. What does this mean exactly? If it is the raw data which comes from the ADC how would we be able to associate to a frequency since there is just one value per column?
All the best,
