Analog Devices has a few different analog mics - ADMP401, ADMP404, ADMP405, and ADMP504. What's the difference between each of them?
Below are the key differentiators between these different analog output microphones.
ADMP401 - slightly larger package than the others, different footprint. The larger package gives it a slightly lower low-frequency roll-off. It's sensitivity is -42 dBV
ADMP404 - small package (2.5 x 3.35 x 0.88 mm), -38 dBV sensitivity
ADMP405 - same as ADMP404, but with a low-frequency roll off at 200 Hz instead of 100 Hz
ADMP504 - same package as ADMP404/405, but with a very high 65 dB SNR. The other three microphones here have a 62 dB SNR. It's frequency response also extends to 20 kHz, while the others here roll off at 15 kHz. Sensitivity is -38 dBV
