Hi

how to calculate the X, Y, Z values in case of self test after reading the data of 20bit each axis?

What is the MIN and MAX values for the X, Y and Z access in case of self test (3.3v, 500Hz odr) and the scale factor for the same?

thanks

Mahesh muni

Hi maheshmuni, sorry for the late response. As what I have understood from your question, to calculate the X, Y, Z values after the self-test, the 20th bit is the sign bit whereas the 19th bit to the 1st bit are the data bits. After converting the data bits in binary to its decimal equivalent, you need to multiply it with the scale factor found in the data sheet:

As per datasheet, you must be able to measure an output change of 0.3g for X and Y while 1.5g for Z.

.

I hope that this has helped answered your question.
