I am using ADV7391 for NTSC signla output. I want to change Video out to VGA(RGBHV) signal from NTSC.
Is there a difference between Component RGB supported by ADV7391 and VGA(RGBHV) signal?
Do you have one of our evaluation board for ADV7391?
Which specific script are you using to configure the board from ADV739X design support files ADV739x Design Support Files ?
Did you see any difference for the configuration that you mentioned on evaluation board for comparing the results?
Table 63 points to how to convert NTSC (r YCbCr) into RGB. You will have to route H & V externally since the ADV7391 does not supply these signals.
Note this RGB format will be interlaced. Normally VGA implies you are looking for a progressive format. The ADV7391 can not convert from interlaced to progressive.
According to Table 18,there is SD sync output enable bit
I think this bit will control Hsync, Vsnyc. Is it right?
On a VGA connector H & V are 5V TTL signals. The bit you are looking at inserts sync pulse on the Y/G channel.
