In a existing design with AD8214 a 10k serial resistor is added between pin 6 and gnd. Also a 100nF is added between pin 6 and pin 1. The reason is filtering noisy 48V supply voltage.
Is this a good idea? Pros and Cons?
The operating current through the 10k will vary.
I would put a R-C from the sense resistor to pins 2 and 8. ( Two and two)

Thinking over this, if you have a noisey power supply, just increase the amount of hystersis as shown
in fig 30 and set the size of the two resistors.
To deal with a noisy supply, you can place a capacitor between Pin 2 and Pin 8. For capacitor values, 0.1µF or 0.01µF would be fine.
