I have ADSP-SC589 ezKit. Chip markings are:
When compiling for the SC589, what is the correct silicon?
Silicon revision 0.1 should match the board that you describe. If in doubt, you can also build with silicon revision `any`.
Silicon revision `any` will differ from 0.1 because the tools (compiler and run-time libraries) will enable all errata workarounds for the target processor whereas `0.1` will enable just the errata workarounds available for that silicon revision.
For more information on silicon revision, please see "Controlling Silicon Revision and Anomaly Workarounds Within the Compiler" in our online Help (CrossCore® Embedded Studio 2.5.x > SHARC® Development Tools Documentation > C/C++ Compiler Manual for SHARC® Processors > Compiler > Compiler Command-Line Interface)
I am already building it with "any" to get fixes for all anomalies. In the assembly, I see tons of extra nops so if safe, I want to restrict the revision. I will switch over to "0.1".
can you see problem : adsp-sc573 MAC only support RGMII or RMII? , we are urgent to know it, thank you very much!
