Sir, I'm interfacing AD7609 with TMS320F28335 through SPI (Serial Peripheral interface) , can I make the CS signal permanently low??

When CS is low it takes out the data output lines from a tri-state, meaning the data output line can source or sink current. When the AD7609 has done conversion, bringing CS low takes the Dout lines of the tri-state and is ready to clock out the data with the SCLK. After Busy goes low, you may choose to bring CS low for the 144 SCLK cycles to frame the conversion result of all 8 channels.
What do you mean by permanently, Is it after power up, the CS will be low all the time? What is your application all about? You can have CS permanently low but this makes the Dout lines available to source or sink current always.
Thanks jcolao for your reply, we made a PCB and in that we grounded the Chip-Select pin by mistake and we found data is not appropriate. Later we found that in the datasheet it is mentioned that the falling edge of the CS signal brings out the datalines from the tristate, is there anything we can do now??
