SPI slave ADSP21489 vs ADSP21262

We have been using the ADSP21262 successfully for many years; it is configured to boot as an spi slave and code is loaded from a PC via a USB link. This all works. We recently decided to try upgrading to the ADSP21489 to be used in exactly the same way. So far, I haven't been able to persuade the SHARC to load the code and run it from the SPI slave boot load, even though I'm following the same process as before. Is there any significant difference to the method with the 21489 which I might have overlooked?

Many thanks,

Peter
