Whould it be feasible to extend the photodiode wizard for a Shunt-Resistance < 100kohm ?
Many (M)IR-PD have shunt resistance of about just 1-10kohm.
Thanks for the suggestion. We'll look into it. Could you recommend a couple of specific part numbers we should look at? We'd like to play around with the modeling with some real world values.
Dear Matt, I would recommend to take a look at Hamamatsus photodiodes in the 3um range - especially theP10090-01
and the TEC based derivatives P10090-11, P10090-21 - datasheet here :

They are quite representative for other devices ...
