I want to create a controlled protection circuit for the RX input of AD9361 to avoid input power higher than 2.5dBm.
The circuit control will be based on RSSI measurement that will decide if my input power is too high and when should I turn on the protection circuit to avoid any damage to my RFIC.
1. What's the minimal time that the RSSI can get a valid response that I could use to control this circuit?
Only thing I could find regarding the timing of the RSSI is:
RSSI Total Measurement duration = 2^(Measurement Duration 0[3:0]
2. Will this time be enough to avoid damaging the AD9361 (Is there any time constraint that I can use for this purpose)?
