I get a massage "platform problem please reboot Zenq" when I try to connent to ad9371 (with xilinx zc706) by the ADI tool "Transceiver evaluation tool", please advise

our customer did what you recommended without success can you advise?
There are issues of some of previously shipped Ad9371 SD cards. Can you ask customer to burn a new SD card from following image and try.
After download the image on a new SD card the Zenq is not "waking" (black screen).
Before trying to update the file I have tried according to your reccomendation to write the following commands:
but after this step I didn't understand clause B: "Update platform software : Device->Update-> Platform Files". where do I do it? if it is on the "Eval Transceiver software" the Device tag is not enabled.
Just to be sure the Eval Transceiver software should be installed on the PC?
One you restart the cmd_server, restart GUI also. Hope you have direct LAN connection between windows PC with TES GUI and zc706 and also you have setup static ip on zc706 as per UG992 or troubleshooting guide. You also need to ping this ip( 192.168.1.10) from windows PC with GUI. Now click on Tools->Update->Platform Files.
New SD card image should work for you. Have you installed it from 'http://www.analog.com/media/en/evaluation-boards-kits/evaluation-software/AD9371-Image-20161130.zip' ?
There seems to be some issue with latest image available online. We are looking into this and will get back to you with correct image.
We solve the problem. After downloading the image, there is a process on
the image that enable to boot the image from the Sd card, this process was
not explained by Analog Device, and should be.
