What is difference between Mux mode and Transceiver mode in ADV7625?I think that Mux mode and Transceiver mode are same.
Please teach me the difference.
ADV7625 has two different operating modes:
One is called "mux mode" or "bypass mode". In this mode the CP (CP-Lite-A) is bypassed. The video, audio, and HDMI infoframes are pass from the receiver to the transmitter.
The other is called "transceiver mode" or "non-mux mode" or "non-bypass mode". In this mode:
* the video is routed through the CP
* the audio can be extracted or inserted
* the host processor is responsible for detecting the incoming video and audio and configuring the transmitter appropriately
* the host processor is responsible for reading the infoframes from the receiver and writing them to the transmitter
I hope this helps!
Thank you for your reply!
