I want to synchronize ADC and DAC. The DAC is simple. On the other hand I can not find the information, which signal indicates the moment of analog value processing.
May I know exactly what is your application and why do you need to synchronized DAC with the ADC? AD7765 has a /SYNC pin which allows the user to control the start of conversion/gathering samples from a known point in time. When this pin is low, the modulator and filter are held in a reset state until the pin is pulled high. Following a /SYNC pulse, the digital filter needs time to settle before valid data can be read from AD7765. The user knows there is a valid data on the SDO line by checking the FILTER-SETTLE status bit that is output with each conversion result. The time from the rising edge of /SYNC until the FILTER-SETTLE bit asserts depends on the filter configuration used. (see table 6 for details on calculating time until FILTER-SETTLE bit asserts).

In the system, the sine signal is applied to the device and the mechanical response is measured.The signal is specified by the AD5791 (20-bit DAC). And measured by the AD7765. Both devices supervises the FPGA (Altera MAX10).At my university conducts research on a new measuring method.Sine signal is very slow, 0.01Hz - 10 Hz. While the sampling frequency is about 10kHz.Important for me is to measure the analog value at a time when the DAC set value.The moment when the DAC set value is clear to me. But the moment when the ADC will measure is imprecise.
As far as I understand. I need to synchronize the DAC to ADC.
