(same as question). I've re-read the AD7768/-4 data sheet and don't see the answer.
If you are using two DOUTs in order to get the data from the part then it may be possible that the solution would be to use one DOUT line? Can you give more details on the exact configuration you are using the part in? It may be possible to adjust the MCLK of the device based on your required bandwidth or other settings.

Yes, you're correct, unfortunately with the AD7768-4 there will be 4 channel 'gaps' every cycle when using one DOUT which wouldn't be there with the 8 channel device for certain conditions.

Please refer to the FORMAT0 Truth Table for the AD7768-4 to ensure the output format is correct for correct operation. Pin 55 should be connected to DGND on the AD7768-4.
