AD9364 - can't change mgc gain index

Hi,

I'm trying to use manual gain control by using register 0x109 to change the index, as the gain control UG suggests.

However, as I read reg 0x2b0, it is constantly pointing at index 0x4C.

I'm using a costum Full gain control table its length is 58.

What am I doing wrong?
