We are using an ADV7341BSTZ video DAC on some of our production video boards and found the following anomaly: The video output signal is offset by +40mV DC with reference to ground. According to the datasheet for the ADV7341 the sync tip for PAL should be at 0V and the blanking level at 300 mV.
- Is there a way to correct the offset with a register setting?
- What are the factors influencing the offset?. (RSET1, RSET2, VREF , Power supplies ?)
- There are registers in the ADV7341 to adjust the gain, but none to adjust the DAC offset ?
Attached are some pictures with the measurement results.
