Concerning calibration. Does Analog Device recomend a recalibration of the devices after some time in the field? I know that some competitors do this.

Okay thanks. So we are using ADIS16485. And we are wondering if there is any recalibration necessary after some time.
The parameters in the ADIS16485's datasheet account for the drift that we would anticipate over a normal-use, 10+ year lifetime. So, we would not anticipate you needing calibration to support these performance levels, but you might find some value in periodic maintenance of some parameters, to preserve "better than specified" performance. Gyroscope Bias Repeatability is the most common area, as some applications provide opportunities to observe the bias, when their systems are operating under relatively static conditions.
