We are using CCES for Linux ver 2.3.0. And we are unable to run or debug our code . We receive exec format error. Kindly help us to resolve this issue.
Hi Bala, are you able to provide more detailed information for your isssue? Detailed information on your final goal, how to reproduce your issue, complete operation and error log for your issue is much appreciated and will help us to understand this problem. Thanks.
We are using ubuntu 14.04.1 in virtual machine. And we have installed CCES for linux (2.3.0) and LinuxAddin for CCES packages.
Now with the help of CCES , we have written a c code and compiled the same. But we are unable to debug it either simulator or emulator mode.
We have attached the snapshot of Debug configuration window and also the error message. Kindly let us know if any additional details are required
Hi Bala, we usually use gdb command line to do the application debug in Linux, some information in https://docs.blackfin.uclinux.org/doku.php?id=debuggers&s=gdb. For SC58x we need to use arm-linux-gdb which is already there after you follow the quick start guide to install the toolchain.
This is sathya we are started the IPPBX project ip04 using blackfin
bf532 processor.right now we stuck at the building the u-boot for the
processor . I get the error that 'bfin-uclinux-gcc:command not found "
while building the u-bbot. i had read the many suggestions from the
engineering zone but i cant get the PATH when i use "which -a
bfin-uclinux-gcc'. Even i had given the path setting also.
I even have the blackfin toolchain opt file. and i tried to build the gcc
4.3 in my ubuntu platform it throws the error that it requires GMP 4.1
,MPFR 2.3.0+ is required to build the gcc . when i tried to build those two
packages i cant able to build those . it throws error at 'make install
step' .i have tried to add the dev packages at the beginning of building
gmp ..like libgcc,libgmp10,libgmpxx4 like that even though it shows error
after successful installing those dev packages.
Could u please help us in any of the way to over come these problem.

Would you start a new thread for your topic and let's go to discuss there, Thanks.
If the project contains huge number of files, using gdb command line will be complicated. Moreover if the project contains hardware interface, we have to debug the same by connecting emulator.
And hence if there is a method to analyse/debug the code via CCES it would be very useful to us. Kindly guide us
