I cannot get AVES Blue 3.03.1545 to launch the EDID editor. I have set the preferences to point the EDID editor to EEditZ.exe. I am using the EVAL-ADV8005 and when the .xml file loaded the EDID tab is greyed out.
Is there anything I can try?
The intent was for for the program to automatically download and spawn the edid editor. Unfortunately this feature is not operational yet. I need to gray out the button in settings also.
For now there's another way to do it, although takes a bit of work
1) Do a capture
2) pick map you want to capture
3) set Style to Byte, Byte per Line to x16
4) hit Continue and put in file you can editing
5) Edit this file
a) Add a 2 lines to the top
b) Add row numbers in front of each row. See example edid.dat to see what the final file should look like
6) save file and load into the edid editor.
Sorry about the confusion, it was a task that never got completed.
Got it, thanks for the reply.
