Is it possible to simulate with ADSimPLL an ADF5355 with its x2 multiplier ?
For example the phase noise for a 13 GHz output signal
Yes. Using the latest version (4.20.02 - check with Help/About from main menu), you can either design a 13GHz PLL directly, or design a 6.5GHz PLL and then from the Data Panel (Left Hand of screen), expand the Auxiliary Outputs entry and enable RFout_B, and a page labelled RFout_B will appear that shows you the phase noise of the 13GHz output.
Simulating the 13GHz design directly enables you to use the Report calculations to compute ACI, jitter etc.. from the 13GHz phase noise results.
Thank you Peter !
