Hi, I'm beginner for using I2C communication for dealing with HDMI Video data.

What I wanna do is getting image data from my PC(DVI) to ADV7611(Receiver).

Then I transmit the HDMI Data from ADV7611 to ADV7511.

Finally, I want to transmit the HDMI data from ADV7511 to my own monitor(display).

I have question on using ADV7511.

As I know, the value of 0x43 register means the EDID memory.

And the default value of it is 0x7E.

Firstly, the 0x43 register has the value of 0x7E.

But it changes from 0x7E to 0x14 even though I didn't do any I2C writing to the register(0x43).

Secondly, I have another question.

I wanna display the HDMI data from PC on my own display.

As I know, If the HPD detect is done and power-up is completed, the I2C master of DDC line in ADV7511 automatically do EDID read through HDMI-HDMI cable from my own display.

Is it right?

Then, Should I do my work through this order?

1. Check HPD detect done.

2. Power up

3. Wait until EDID read Completed

4. Do I2C configuration for my own settings on HDMI data.(ex 1080p 4:2:2 16bit)
